Turkish Patent Institute Electronic Document, Archive and Process Management System

Electronic Document, Archive and Process Management System of Turkish Patent Institute was integrated with KEP (Registered Electronic Mail) system.

Turkish Patent Institute (TPI), which carries out registration and protection of industrial property rights protected by law, uses Documents Innova.

Turkish Patent Institute felt the need to centralize and manage the different applications it uses for Trademark, Patent and Design registration procedures and the documents produced from these applications. The institute implemented this project with Documents Innova because of the difficulty in following up thousands of daily incoming and outgoing documents in physical environment.

With the integration of KEP (Registered Electronic Mail) made for TPI, and Document Management System, the documents started to be delivered to the recipients via the application without having to print out. With this project, hundreds of daily documents were sent to KEP via the application. Since the need for registered post was eliminated, the institute saved on costs and time.
