Many organizations fail to achieve successful large-scale transformation projects because they do not realize that modernization is an ongoing process that requires a practical and pragmatic approach to updating tools and processes. While CTOs contribute innovative techniques and tools, CMOs bring the rationality and critical analysis necessary for project success.

Ultimately, businesses that succeed in modernization recognize that it is not a question of choosing between CMOs and CTOs, but rather balancing the contributions of both roles. By combining the forward-thinking creativity of a CTO with the strategic, practical approaches of a CMO, companies can continuously innovate while achieving true modernization in their operations.
