The Integration of Smart Technologies into Penal Institutions Project (ACEP) is a pioneering digital transformation initiative implemented for the General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Türkiye, in cooperation with Türk Telekom and with İnnova as the solution partner. Successfully deployed across Türkiye, ACEP has become a benchmark transformation model in the public sector by bringing smart technologies together with robust integration and a well-designed architectural framework.
In penal institutions, the manual execution of communication, headcount, healthcare, canteen and application processes created significant operational burdens, as well as challenges in terms of security and efficiency. Developed in response to these needs, ACEP offers a sustainable solution by digitizing the daily operations of penal institutions end to end.
An Integrated Ecosystem Powered by Turna Multimedia Devices
At the core of ACEP’s on-site success are the Turna Multimedia Devices, designed and manufactured by İnnova. Specifically developed for ward use, Turna devices enable secure access to digital services in penal institutions through biometric authentication, high security standards, and a user-centric design.
