Istanbul Metropolitan Health Directorate Application Kiosks

Document tracking is now much easier for patients in Istanbul, thanks to new custom-designed application and document tracking kiosks.

The Istanbul Metropolitan Health Directorate serves Turkey’s biggest city, with a population of over 15 million people. The Directorate wanted to enable users to track their own documents and make applications through its Document Management System (DMS). Kiosk Innova thus designed special application kiosks customised to the Directorate’s specific needs, making it possible for patients to submit applications and track their documents much more easily than before.

How does it work?

All request and complaint letters given to the Health Directorate get recorded in its Document Management System. Applicants insert one Turkish Lira to enter the system and, using their document management number, they can then use the application kiosks (application acceptance) to check the status of their application and find out whether it has been received, is being processed or has been concluded.
