Thanks to Innova’s assistance, in December 2010 the Sofra Group also began to use Hyperion Planning’s reporting functions. Sofra has since been able to get easy access to any detail relating to budgeting, no matter how small. The company’s CEO, Zeynep Kazan, underlined the new system’s advantages saying, “Its reporting function is highly detailed. That means we have all the answers to the questions we are asked when we deliver our budget presentation. This was not possible before”.
The Sofra Group’s transition to Hyperion Planning also attracted the attention of its parent company, Compass. Kazan said that the leading global catering company had been searching for budget planning solutions for its operations in other countries and that its company’s financial controllers praised Sofra’s implementation of Hyperion Planning and began to use it as an example for the other countries.
