Volkswagen moves into space with Microsoft PixelSense

Volkswagen chose Innova to stand out at sponsored events, using its interactive platform to attract visitors.


Volkswagen has always cited innovation as one of its brand values, which explains why it chose to be one of the main sponsors of the recent exhibition entitled ‘NASA: A Human Adventure.’ When planning its approach, Volkswagen decided on a concept that reflected the essence of the event, with its focus on cutting-edge technology.

Volkswagen’s stand delighted visitors by offering them the chance to experience the excitement of mankind’s adventures in space exploration in an interactive feature that made full use of next-generation technologies. The experience was created using Microsoft® PixelSense™ installed by Innova, who also integrated some of its other solutions in the stand. Volkswagen used the event to launch its new VW Golf.

Volkswagen moves into space with Microsoft PixelSense

Several visits to VW’s production facilities gave Volkswagen the chance to test its solutions even before the project began. The interactive feature used Microsoft® PixelSense™ technology running on the latest generation Samsung SUR40 large format display (LFD) and Innova executed this turnkey solution by monitoring every step of the preparations. Innova also offered a video wall solution, which was used to display Volkswagen promotional videos whose striking visual effects amplified the stand’s captivating appeal. Thanks to this collaboration, Volkswagen was left with an interactive communication platform for people of all ages.
