Documents Innova Success Stories

The Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology

The Ministry of Science, Industry and Technologies maintains a central office and branches in each of Turkey’s 81 provinces. Before adopting Documents Innova it would physically track thousands of documents every day. The extensive exchange of documents between provincial branches wasted considerable time and resources, and raised security issues that ultimately led the Ministry to recognise the need for an electronic document management system. Today about 3,000 users rely on Documents Innova.

Turkish Patent Institute

The Turkish Patent Institute regulates the registration and preservation of industrial property rights protected by law. It requires an electronic document management system to manage its high volume of daily correspondence and to archive the many documents created by the Patent and Trademark processes and thus turned to Documents Innova for an up-to-date solution.

General Directorate of Highways

The 81 provincial branches of the General Directorate operate an electronic document management system with more than 9,000 users.

By April 2015 the Directorate had produced 4,000,000 pages using the Documents Innova system, and a further 1,200,000 were added using the scanning features. Due to changes in internal policies the Directorate was able to use Documents Innova to reduce the volume of printed and copied documents to 2,000,000 pages. All correspondence previously sent by post shifted to a digital approach so that hundreds of pages produced each day are now sent electronically, saving time and heavily reducing postal charges.

Türk Telekom

Türk Telekom was in search of a solution that enabled it to recording physical documents as they arrived, and to place these within an electronic workflow that would make it possible for them to be sent to other divisions and organisations and to be archived and disposed of at the appropriate time.

With the increasing need for an integrated system that adhered to the TS 13298 /T1 standards and enabled the use of certified electronic and mobile signatures, in January 2014 Document Innova was deployed throughout the organisation, including all regional and provincial offices.
