The popularity of games of chance has reached new horizons in Ukraine with many Ukrainians now playing Lotto over mobile phones. The IT infrastructure for this Innovative application has been implemented successfully by Innova IT Solutions.
Through the IT infrastructure deveoped by Innova, Ukraine’s games Super Lotto and Lotto Maxima can now be played via mobile phones. The service is provided to subscribers of Life, the largest GSM operator in Ukraine and all they have to do is to send an SMS (free of charge) and download the Mobile Lotto Java application onto their mobile phones.
Everything over the mobile phone
In Mobile Lotto application, users write their own lucky numbers and choose as many coupons and combinations as they wish. Alternatively, they can use the “fast option” offered by the application to bet money in a random combination set by the system.
Instant Mobile Prizes!
During the games played on the Mobile lotto application, prizes below a certain amount are added to the user's mobile phone account. For prizes above a certain limit, the winner has to apply in person to a Ukrainian National Lottery corporation office. When applying for the prize, the user must bring with him the mobile phone with the java application to verify the electronic lotto coupon.
Mobile payment infrastructure
The crucial stage for the success of Mobile Lotto application was the safe transfer of the prize money between the country’s 3 big corporations and the players. Within the scope of the project, Innova also implemented the financial transaction applications and mobile payment infrastructure between Life, the largest GSM operator of Ukraine, NPAY which operates the Mobile Lotto application and the Ukrainian National Lottery corporation, responsible from the regulation and auditing of all games of chance in the country.
